Overseen by The School Curriculum and Standards Authority of Western Australia, the Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT) is an internationally recognised pre-university programme. Sunway University Australian University Programme (AUSMAT) offers the Year 12 Curriculum of Western Australia with assessment consists of 50% school-based coursework and 50% examination. Students are obliged to take five subjects (including English) from both the arts and science syllabus such as Mathematics, Economincs, Biological Sciences and so on. This programme lasts for 10 months and has three intakes, January, March and September (14 months), with the final examination in November. To enter into Sunway University Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT), students need to have at least 5 credits in SPM or equivalent.
